Services/Insurance Policies

We can take care of over 90 percent of all medical problems encountered by you and your family. A few examples of the wide range of services available are listed below:

Chronic Medical Problems – high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, emphysema, arthritis, thyroid problems, ulcers, strokes, gout and osteoporosis.

Injuries – lacerations, fractures, sprains, over-use syndromes, sports injuries.

Children’s Health Needs – hospital care of the newborn, well-baby exams, immunizations, school and camp physicals, children’s illnesses.

Preventive Medicine and Cancer Screening – routine physical exams, well-women exams, school & sports physicals, Pap smears, prostate exams, hearing tests, Dexa Scans, EKG’s, immunizations, cholesterol and diabetes testing and counseling.

Women’s Health Needs – pregnancy testing, contraceptive & STD counseling, gynecologic and breast exams, infertility testing.

Skin Problems – acne, skin cancers, rashes, warts, ingrown toenails, biopsies and excisions.

Counseling – initial evaluation and short-term treatment of depression, stress-related physical disorders, marital and family problems.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services – In-office digital x-rays, cryotherapy, pulmonary function testing, minor surgery, oximetry, spirometry, ultrasounds, Dexa Scans, routine lab tests, and referrals to Specialists.

Health Education – diabetes, cholesterol and nutritional classes.

We accept patients with nearly all insurance plans and even patients who find themselves currently between plans. Half of our patients have “private insurance” (PPO, POS, Medicare, etc.) and half have HMO insurance. Many of our patients have at one time had one type of insurance, and at another time another type of insurance, depending on their employment or circumstances.
